Metea County Park

November 6 & 8, Monday and Wednesday  10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Help save our beautiful view of scenic Cedar Creek.  FREE annual individual park pass to those that work a full six-hour day of removing invasive, non-native plants.  Invasive plants are out-competing our native wildflowers and tree saplings.  Bring leather gloves/boots, long sleeves/pants and eye-protective glasses to drag out these unwanted invaders.  Feel free to bring your own equipment, such as loppers, chainsaws, spin-trimmers (outfitted with saw blades), etc…  Use of your equipment is at your own risk. Allen County Parks is not responsible for any damage to personal equipment.

Rain dates are November 13th and 15th.  Pre-register so we may plan on how much equipment to have on hand.
