Junior Indiana Master Naturalist Program 2020
The Jr. Indiana Master Naturalist Program is designed for children, ages 9-12, who are really nuts about nature!
If your child is interested in exploring the natural world of Allen County, we offer this class to encourage such exploration with four days of eight nature classes, six hours of volunteer stewardship and all required class materials. Students should bring their own sack lunch, water bottle and snacks.
Students will learn about specific topics of nature, such as reptiles or mammals! We will study salamanders, frogs, soils, geology, birds and much, much more!
The mission of the Junior Indiana Master Naturalist program is to bring together natural resource specialists with young people, age 9-12 years, to foster an understanding of Indiana’s plants, water, soils and wildlife, and promote volunteer service in local communities.
Registration forms are available at both nature centers, and can also be downloaded below or call Natalie Haley at 260-449-3246.
WHEN: June 23, June 30th, July 7th and July 14th 9:30 am – 3:30 pm each day.
