The Allen County Parks Department welcomes donors, both corporate and personal, large and small. Donations of any size and type contribute greatly to maintaining the county park system as an asset to the community. Donations are deposited in a Non Reverting Gift Fund.
(1) Donations for a specific program or event. You can direct your gift to a specific park or program. For more information contact Jeff Baxer at jbaxter at allencountyparks.org (please replace the word “at” with @)
(2) Memorial Tree with Marker – Purchase a tree to be planted in one of our parks along with a marker placed at ground level. Please note the tree species MUST be native to Indiana (final selection must be approved by the Superintendent) and orders placed between April 30 and October 1st will be planted in the fall. Cost of $500.00 includes purchase, planting, 5 year warranty and a 6″x 12″ granite marker. More information can be found by downloading a Memorial Tree Order Form or use the Fillable Form that can be filled out on computer and emailed back, check or money order must be sent separately. (3) Bench with Plaque – Purchase a bench made of recycled materials and a plaque for placement in our parks. Cost includes purchase, installation, warranty and plaque. Moe information can be found by downloading a Memorial Bench Order Form. Can’t access forms go to bottom of page for instructions.
You may also make a donation to agencies that support the mission of the Parks and Recreation Department such as the Fox Island Alliance or Friends of Metea.
