Allen County Parks Gift Shops
Gift Shops are currently closed due to COVID 19
Allen County Parks operates gift shops at Fox Island Nature Center and at the Gloria Goeglien Nature Center at Metea County Park. Gift Shop hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week.
Inside you’ll find all kinds of items for the nature enthusiast. A few examples of our inventory:
- Field Guides – Petersons, National Audobon Society, Tom Brown’s, Stokes.
- Nature Books for kids and adults including topics on butterflies, wildflowers, trees, mammals, astronomy, geology and reptiles.
- Stationary, bookmarks etc.
- Science related toys
- Handmade wren and bluebird houses
- Park T shirts and sweatshirts
- Hats
- Compasses
- Bug Spray and repellent, sun screen
- Walking sticks, handcrafted
- Arrowheads, magnets, jewelry
Everything is reasonably priced so next time your out at Fox Island or Metea County Parks stop in and visit the Gift Shops and pick up a little something to remember your visit.
If there is no attendant on duty at the gift shop or 
reception desk just stop any staff person and they will be happy to help you out with anything gift shop related as well as any other question you might have regarding Allen County Parks!!
